Appreciation post!!!!!

I don't care if our Australian squads don't place first because in our eyes just to place in the top 20 out 60 something squads is phenomenal!

We usually place around the 15th mark but this year we've place 7th through to 10th (across the divisions not all in one) we've place top 20, top 15 and even top 5 with a four place win! We where repeated in not only cheer but Pom, lyrical, jazz AND hip hop! Plus our strong representation at ICU. There is no way that these young athletes did anything but amazing! And we continue to improve and continue to work our way up to the stand of American squads!
aussie aussie aussie, oi! oi! oi!

Australian teams are definitly doing a great job!

This is nice to see

i wonder how many of the people in here that were making posts, prior to smoed performng day 2, about how they wished/hoped smoed would fall/lose, would later go on to say (or shimmy) how disrespectful it was for the smos to post their post performance words and pic. so hypocritical.

guess they were mad about smoed crushing their hopes/wishes.

hopefully this will console those that wished smoed would fall and lose. they broke their globe trophy:

It's OK, they already have 4 back at Ventura, I'm sure they can get someone to replicate the glass globe using one of their previous globes.

You know there are more. These are just the one from well known teams. I know there was an injury or 2 from local teams (one knee for sure) that aren't noticed cos these teams aren't well known. I couldn't give a reason though for thee other injuries (mats, not a good enough warm up, tired, etc.)

Well parents should be asking questions and looking for reasons. One simple reason why... they have signed liability waivers. The purpose of a sanctioned event, should be first and foremost the safety of the athlete.

Oh please. Don't lump all fans together, no matter the team!
I was saying people think their fans are poor sports because some people choose to be trolls on social media & keep going on & on, and that's most of what people see. Just because I'm KcCheer4L doesn't mean I don't like the team. Lol

Come on, we see bad behavior from all sorts of fans. Check Twitter. That's where you'll find the disgruntled BSB fans currently. This behavior is wrong but not isolated to one gym.
I never said it was one gym? But you're missing my point. No one was here after BSB won NCA & every other comp trying to pick fights or start arguments with other people. Ok Smoed won worlds, fans should take the win graciously like the athletes have so far.

Ahem, most of the athletes....

the globe is intact. looks like bad glue job. lol.

Oh lol, that's pretty common actually...... I think if you go to big name gyms, where some have a collection of globes, you'll notice a couple of them are missing the globe. Makes you wonder the quality of craftsmanship that's put into the making of the trophies.
