My only contribution to this thread is that there is no way I should be seeing BENT WRISTS IN HIGH Vs ON WOLRDS MEDALIST/TOP 10 TEAMS.

I can't even.
YES!! I saw a girl doing a lib in an NCA jacket with her wrists totally bent and I was like "You're a NCA champ but your high v looks like that....?"

There's one thing that I notice that I'm gonna try to explain the best I can. There's some teams that HIT their stunts, they're clean and don't wobble. And other teams that hit their stunts, and although they're in the air they're just not hit as hard. I think that definitely has to do with the way technique is tsight

100% driven by the scoresheet. (more specifically - coaches' perception of the scoresheet.) You aren't rewarded as much in cheer for attention to detail as you are in gymnastics. If/when that changes, you will see less difficultly & better technique.

Also the attention to difficulty over technique is what can cause an increase in injuries. I'm all for difficulty, but I'd rather see a clean, safe, injury free routine rather than one that is difficult as crap but I'm cringing and scared to watch the whole time.

It's the massive push towards difficulty rather than technique. Unfortunately, due to the scoresheet, a team is better off having 20 messy doubles in a routine than 10 perfect ones.

I have the same issue with gymnastics. 15 years ago you had to be absolutely perfect – no stumbles, no untidy feet, no steps on landing, and a whole lot of grace and style. But now, scores are so focused on difficulty that technique has regressed. I can barely bring myself to watch a lot of the routines.
Wow. For a long time, I have put gymnastics on a pedestal for a long time and thought that EVERY coach was more concerned with beautiful technique than difficulty.

And the fact that some of them want to try out for college cheer with bad motions...

Oh I've definitely seen some gymnastics coaches that were worse than some cheer coaches I've had in terms of favoring technique.

I don't mind sassy but HIT YOUR PASS before you try to sassy stomp and walk away.

It kills me to see someone land the most balled-over death spiral and sassy stomp walk like it was the greatest pass ever thrown.
YES.
I believe the newly emphasized focus of being sassy and fierce has something to do with the sloppiness/carelessness!
Anyone that thinks sloppy and sassy looks better than sharp and clean needs to take a look at some old Panthers and Orange videos (they're both still sharp and clean, but choreo styles have changed over time).

This is because there is no structure when it comes to level placement across the board. I know a lot of people don't want cheer to be anything like gymnastics, but in gymnastics you literally had to progress from one level to the next. There was no skipping levels because of something you were unable to do. You would have to work that much harder to get that skill. This industry has become about money and who has the most worlds teams, so people are rushing and forcing athletes to do skills they're not ready for, hence the disgusting technique.
