Completely agree, but I think it also helps that Blink is an open team, so the athletes are (on the whole) older, more accountable for their own actions etc.
They're responsible, experienced athletes, and she treats them as such.

That being said, I think any aged team can be treated this way. The more you trust and respect your kids, the more they'll trust and respect you back; yelling and acting like an angry schoolteacher never works. From my experience anyway.

Can you cheer and be on Ladybirds at the same time? I can't imagine that that works (as I believe the Ladybirds are also NDA champions, so I'd think that they have a demanding schedule as well.)

I don't think dance has restrictions on all girl and coed. You can have males on a dance team in any NDA division.

So looks like from Instagram, several (including Eric) tried out for Louisville ladybirds and made it. That should be fun to watch next year!

Wait...... I can't tell if it's a joke or ladybirds has actually gone coed.

They posted team photos with 3 boys on the squad. They had shirts and everything!

That's awesome!! I guess he had enough of hard floor cheerleading, there's just a point in your life you just have to allow your joints to recover from all the heavy pounding.

Are they going to rename "lady" birds, then? Or...

How many years has Eric competed in Daytona? I know they now enforce a limit on number of times you can compete at NCA.. Though I think it's five and I doubt this is his sixth year at Louisville. Both teams are present on the sidelines at football games so doubt he's doing both unless they worked something out. Good luck to him! Hope he has fun the rest of his college career! And hope he still does GT because I enjoy watching him.

that's a rule?!? that is so stupid. Id be livid.. what if you're on an international team that goes every year? you would just not be allowed to compete??

Eta.. Unless you're talking about the university NCA.. which I still think is a dumb rule but makes more sense..
