I think Jessa and Jill are the most brainwashed and most like their parents and least likely to break away. I think Jessa and teen groom "Bin" want to be a fundie power couple. And Jessa seems like a witch with a b

I also think something wasn't clean in the buttermilk with Josiah and that's why he's currently in the works to take a child bride. A girl that wears jeans at that!

Jill is definitely - I thought that about Jessa at first but I think she has just enough of a rebellion streak in her that if the right person came along I think she could turn.

I made sure to leave the light off! Thankfully my cousin (the mom) laughed about it when I told her what happened haha. They're pretty go with the flow and we're really close so I wasn't too worried.

Related to your story:
Something similar happened to me when I was little! I was playing with barbies and put one of their dresses on a lamp (I have no clue why now, I was about 6 at the time so who knows) and it burned a massive hole through it. It smelled terrible [emoji40]

Smart! But lol at that story! When I was about that age my Barbie fell in the bathtub and I thought it would dry her hair super quickly if I put it up against my mom's space heater.... It didn't.

Hahah love how you spelled Ben like she pronounced it! I think Jill is by far the most brainwashed.

I think Jill got the "best" husband out of all of them--not sure how they agreed with someone who actually has real-world college experience, but I'm glad they did. Plus she's totally okay with her son going to OSU!

And Derrick was the mascot for OSU for a bit so he can hang.

Beautiful, kind and nearly half were molested by their brother.

I'm sorry but if you know your children were molested by their sibling and you do NOTHING. About it, then that for me negates your wonderful parenting

Not that Jim Bob and J'Uterus parent. They Pop out these blessings from God and leave older kids to raise

My compliment, as stated in my post, was unrelated to the topic at hand. I never claimed they were wonderful parents. I never claimed they were wonderful parents. They did what they thought was right at the time, but clearly the wrong decisions were made.

Yeah, Jess and Ben seemed primed and ready to use their fame to push their fundamentalist agenda. Jill is a sweatheart who believes all that stuff, but doesn't seem very interested in preaching it. Neither of them are getting out of the quiverful movement anytime soon.

I kind of agree with you. Your daughters are victims, absolutely, but it's still your son. What do you do? Are you really going to turn him into the cops? Or do what you can to get help without getting the authorities involved. Is that the right decision? Probably not. But I think they were trying to protect their family.

If your son murdered his sister, you'd turn him in right? If he molested or raped a woman that he didn't know from a can of house paint and you found out, you would turn him in right?

I'm sure it would be difficult and hard but right is right. There is no gray area for me when it comes to this

Naw. My money is on Jinger, Johannah or Jennifer. Johannah seems particularly unhappy about their life style. She actually just seems unhappy in general for a child

The Free Jinger website has always made me laugh. Joy-Anna has a spark to her that is almost tomboy-ish, so I could see her resisting; Johannah does always seem miserable.

I didn't say that you said they were wonderful parents. I said that for me, the cover up negates their wonderful parenting, because I don't doubt that they didn't try to be "wonderful" parents the best way that they know how.

Josiah has been sent away to his own version of 'camp' though not the same one as Josh; most assume it's because he's actually gay.

I absolutely agree with you about Jessa & Ben---what they're going to do now is definitely unknown. He has no real education and no real prospects or life experience, and now that she's preggo, she certainly won't be able to work. They needed the money from TLC that is on it's way of drying up.
