My boyfriend thinks the Same and tries not to speak german with me at all but whenever He Talks to My parents its actually the cutest thing in the world haha , americans and english speaking people in general just sound cute when they speak german and not in a dumb or stupid way, we love it

actually i would never do that , my minor is Teaching german as a second/foreign language so if i laughed at people i would probably have chosen the wrong minor haha

Well you'd be a very sweet German! Though most did laugh or look at me really funny and then ask where I was from. When I'd tell them, they'd look at me even weirder because most have been to Disney and my natural accent is definitely not regional. My dad, on the other hand, is from a southern state which is where mine originated from as a child and it's just something I've never been able to truly kick.

I just got back from studying abroad in Germany! Still not the best at speaking German, but I improved a lot and had an amazing experience!

Hahaha when I first read this I thought you meant you were pretty sure I didn't take German in high school. Hahah okay I'm glad we sound cute maybe if I ever get over to German I'll actually attempt to talk with people lol
