i just dont get the point in making a new team, and then having them do an old routine. Im sure the girls do enjoy it, cause its technically new to them. But it just irks me. The lower level team doing a tribute SE routine i thought was a cute idea, but to make a level 5 worlds team do one is just, blah.

I thought the point of Ladies of Teal was to stray away of being in Senior Elite's shadow and having their own identity. This just seems like Senior 3lite and Lady Elite combined, but with double the Senior Elite influence.

That was so disappointing after all that was said about LoT departing from SE's shadow. I think almost everybody loves SE and CE but at least let the other worlds teams shine and have their own identity...

It was weird now the caption said "LOT listening to their music for the first time"

Because from what I could hear, we've all already heard it.


Anyway. I liked their stunting. Everyone looked flyer sized. There were some wonky arms and wrists in their scales though

I thought they looked really young, yet all still of a similar size. Kinda nice.

I know CEA sometimes uses certain sections of songs in routines throughout the years. Like SE might have a section one year and IOC might have it in theirs the next...but that's basically the same mix. I would have hoped the got some separation because that was the whole point of the name change/difference.

did anyone see Chinese Taipei (I think) at ICU this year?? they had something similar. the middle girl flipped up and ended up going straight the group and was caught solely by a spotter.. scary stuff..

Ladies of Teal just looks so much like a junior team to me... They seem to have some very strong athletes, but there's not one girl who looks older than 14.

And I do not like the idea of a tribute team at all. I didn't like the idea when Senior 3lite did it, but at least they were a lower level team – this is a senior 5 Worlds team paying tribute to a team that's supposed to be in the same age and difficulty level, as if they are inferior to SE. It's weird.

Clearly the LoT parents don't find it weird. That's all that matters: If the kids are happy and they are progressing.

Is it my taste? Absolutely not.
