Cheerleading will not be in the 2028 Olympics​

The International Olympic Committee has officially accepted five new sports for the 2028 Olympic Games - and cheerleading is not one of them.

Why The California Allstars had to cancel (parts of) their showcase

Sometimes, things don't go as expected… A truck apparently hit a fire hydrant, causing it to flood the arena where the showcase was to be held.

Some teams were still able to perform in the gym (videos here), but the rest had to reschedule for another day:
