All of these teams are from Illinois, and they're all worth the watch!
I can't find a video of this team from this year yet, but the season just started. They are always one of the best teams in the state so I just have to show it, but here is them at state last year

Here is my high school's team! They have improved so much since I was a freshman:p

Lincoln Way East. Not sure how I feel about the order of the routine, and the pyramid was a little messy. But those opening stunts were amazing!

Carl Sandburg

^^^^^*Shout out to the girl one-manning in the Conant video! I also appreciate that they focused on leading the crowd and the difficulty didn't take away from that.

*I wonder what's in the water for some teams with these super clean full-ups (although a couple of them are using the different full-up grip, it's still a rather difficult stunt to do cleanly.)

*I loved the Janet themed dances for LWE and Sandberg. I wonder who does a lot of the IL HS teams' choreography? It's all so well-executed.

*The order of skills is interesting in some of these. Sandberg had kids cheering during running tumbling. I can tell you I would NEVER want to have to cheer while throwing a full! And toe backs at the end. I couldn't even.

*Appreciative of the FLYER TECHNIQUE in some of these. Pointed toes, good flexibility, etc. See also: super clean motions in dances/cheers. Little things!

*Last thing: Holy JUMP TECHNIQUE Batman! Good height on all teams, pointed toes, and timing is perfect (no popcorn jumps!)

^^^^^Haha!

More from the craziness that is the WV state competition (if you are brave enough to watch kids stunt/full down/up on the hard floor.) I can appreciate their flyer flexibility/jumps, though!

All state champions:

Wheeling Park

Man

Robert Byrd

I just don't know how they can't wrangle up ONE mat to perform on? I would be terrified to sit through a competition with NO mats. Coaches anxiety would be crazy high.
