My 14 year old plays WoW, she's one of the top players in her guild AND the youngest. We have discussed Internet safety plus the fact she's playing with adults so act accordingly. Her GM messaged me in game to say how she behaved more maturely then most of her adult guild members.
It starts with parents getting involved with their kids and knowing what they are doing online. I'm not on all of their media but I trust I have given them enough pointers that they don't act like total spaz on the Internet.

So after something Somebody (I don't remember who) mentioned it on Twitter, what are the chances that whoahdeedle/ztaprincess is one of these accounts? She always seemed to want to get to know us all personally so it really doesn't fit her style but I've been wrong before....

What Courtney did could be considered doxxing. I think it's illegal, but it might be a thing that's decided on by each state.
It would have been less sketchy for her to go to the parents, or even the kid's ISP to get them to stop.

Dox- "search for and publish private or identifying information about (a particular individual) on the Internet, typically with malicious intent. "

the key words here are "publish," "private/identifying" and "malicious." Did CSP publish the info? Yes. Was it private info? This one is tricky. The definition of private information is murky as the internet has pretty much killed privacy. If phone numbers are public record, than I don't know if it counts as private. But, it was identifying information. The big word is "malicious." Did CSP mean to cause harm to this individual? That is a personal question that only CSP knows the true answer.

Remember.... I'm filterless at this point....and Republican.

I feel like I should be upset that the number was published....but I'm not. When I saw that pop up my first thought was a meme of Rhonda Rousey getting knocked out. I followed the trail a bit and saw the desperate pleading to stop texting because people were saying "mean" things and my first thought then was "serves you right."

That particular account has been the definition of horrible to that program for over a year. Calculated. Bullying. Hateful and slanderous. For a year.

Well, child. Welcome to accountability.

I work with kids all day long as well. High schoolers. Many of which have never had to be accountable for anything because helicopter Susie moms will fly right in and save them from the big mean world they created.

This is my equivalent to learning the hard way not to slide down the METAL slide at the park on a 94 degree, sunny day. And only those my age will get that because our precious babies have plastic park slides.

CSP introduced this kid to a metal tonka truck (those were the days) and I guarantee you she'll remember this lesson much longer and better than 3,875 counseling/conversation/oh-honey-don't-do-that-again discussions with a parent who should've held her accountable WAY before someone on the internet decided to feed her some of what she was cooking.

Because let's face it, I said metal park slide and if you got the reference you winced. None of us ever forgot THAT lesson either.

Thanks. Now the back of my thighs hurt just remembering the pain. In Texas. In the dead of summer. With my short-shorts on.

Uh yes. Obviously she posted her phone number to get back at the girl. There was clearly malicious intent. It was retaliation for all of the things the anon said about CEA.

lets be honest hasnt people on fierceboard done the same thing in the past by exposing names, address and numbers. As a whole we really arent any better.

We also now have a specific rule against it (A Note On Doxxing/posting Private Information Publicly... | Fierce Board - The Voice Of Cheer) CSP would have been banned for doing that. Which is actually something one of the staff members here said when we heard about it "oh wow that's a ban-able offense on the board." Though realistically the anon probably would have been banned already.

I had never been in the random thread until last night....then I fell down the rabbit hole. Wow, just wow, I had no idea these accounts even existed. I've looked, probably too much like I said I fell down the rabbit hole. My first thought is these kids have spent so much TIME doing this. Makes me wonder if they even cheer or go to school at all. The research involved in knowing every single tiny bit of anything about senior elite is staggering, and kinda scary. They knew every score, every point at every comp for like the past 10 years. That's a lot of time spent researching something you hate. And then see some girl begging to be called out by CSP. Likes its some sort of sick badge of honor.
Another thing, not buying that lawyer thing at all...that acct is crazy shady.

On the subject of the lawyer:
First I want to say I'm not a stalker, and I'm not trying to beat a dead horse, but it really pisses me off when randoms threaten legal action on the Internet (oh hey, Fierce Elite). I had a geography test today so I was procrastinating studying last night and did some research on her. She's a lawyer in the UK yet the Twitter account location is Durham, NC. According to the website of the firm she works for, she passed the bar (or the UK equivalent) in 2006. Her LinkedIn of the same photo says she rides horses. I'm putting her at like, 36ish. It's possible she has kids old enough to be on Twitter and be obsessed with American cheerleading drama, but according to a Rachel O'Hagan's facebook she's been married for 6ish years and (like the linkedin) she rides horses. (Like dressage, all fancy and stuff.) her Facebook has numerous pictures of her horses and her husband and her family (sisters, parents) but no kids, except like a niece or something. Lastly, there's another, private Twitter account under her name... @rachohagan I think. The profile pic isn't from her Facebook, but if that's not her she has a twin. Also, I don't know a lot of lawyers, but the ones I know would never jeopardize their business by letting their kids play and retweet on their Twitter account, as well as call out a random American cheer coach on social media where all her clients can see. Also, from what I could tell she only follows cheer twitters and for the most part, has no non-cheer followers. Idk, but something isn't adding up.
So the private twitter for the lawyer is not the one dishing legal advise?

CSP is on fire. Now she's talking to savage cheer. I will say, that is one of the two cheer anons I follow. I wanted to keep an eye on her/him since they bash Cali. I've seen people offer money to find out who that person is.

I think at one point it was run by a poster who has been banned on here but has the same twitter name as their fierce board name, but I think someone else runs it or helps run it now. I remember seeing a tweet from the account saying it had new "ownership" or something which would make sense since if it is who I think it is the account creator is about 20 years old and is hopefully starting to grow up and move on with her sorry life. Savage cheer is by far one of the most vile anon cheer twitters out there.

I had a thought when someone was telling me about these cheer instagram accounts.

I bet the people behind the worst of them don't even ACTIVELY cheer!

As in, they don't cheer All Stars at all and are just part of the fandom or they're long retired and irrelevant.
