DH drives a 2002 Honda Accord with close to 150,000 miles on it. There have been no issues with it. We have only had to do routine maintenance on it. I had a Chevrolet Cavalier before we got the Honda and as soon as it hit 100,000 miles it started falling apart. We are getting ready to buy another car and we are looking to get another Honda!

Hondas also hold their resale value well. I have a Honda Pilot and it's my second. I love it.

Hey everybody!

I'm not sure if posts like this are allowed (and if they aren't I'll delete it swiftly!) but my university dance team are raising money for our competition season by doing a sponsored into the sea near where we live, which is freezing cold (Scotland probs ).

Our university isn't very big and as an "up and coming" sport within the uni, Dance doesn't typically get a large budget from the sports Union.

If anyyyyyone would like to sponsor us to help us on our way to the most prestigious competition we have ever done here is the link ----- UADDT's Broughty Ferry Dance Dip!! by Jennie Will - GoFundMe

My mom had a civic. Was a great car but I hated driving it. Was small and light. My preference is the Accord which is a step up. Hondas have a good reputation for lasting a long time even if the body is all rusted out.

I have a Civic! Love it! Hondas are Japanese, but Hondas and Toyotas are among the most reliable cars and they're so common that repairs shouldn't be very expensive. I've had no issues with my Civic in the 6 years I've had it.

The Civic is a tiny little car though. I like it for that reason, but if you're looking for something a little roomier and more comfortable, the Accord would be a good bet.

Good choice! We had a Honda Accord Hybrid for a few years before my mom wanted a new car. The Accord was really great though. It felt like a smooth drive and it had enough room in the front and the back seat. We never had any mechanical/ electrical problems with it either. And, when she traded it in to Lexus, they gave her a fair amount for it!

I don't recall if her death was acknowledged here, but there have been so many since then…it is gearing up to be a year of great loss.
I know!!!! But if you think about it, it has always been like this in the beginning of each new year and hopefully, the deaths stop later on... I think, we are all more aware of these deaths due to the time of year, which should signify rebirth, not endings ....Nevertheless, it is still sad all the same!!!

Late to this, but I've had two Honda Civics (leases and I loved both)! I'm either getting a civic or and HRV after graduation. My mom has a CRV and my dad an accord. We're a big Honda family lol

So I've been having a lot of problems with my car since I got it this past July and today the mechanic told us that we were better off trading it in because one thing that was wrong could possibly pop up again . This is so annoying! I just got this car and had multiple problems with it shortly after. So now I have to scramble to find a good car that'll last me a long time!

Anyone have experience/preference on Honda accords/civics or Chevrolet Cruze? Those are the main cars I'm looking at. Something reliable, not too pricey to fix if needed, good on gas mileage, American made preferably bc I had a Mazda and holy expensive [emoji32]

i would stick with japanese or german car engineering. theyre more reliable.
