I've had an athlete trip and fall and it was a deduction. I've also been the athlete that tripped and fell and caused a deduction [emoji854]

This year? I am so confused by this years scoring, and trying to figure out the deductions. I thought this year bobbles are not deductions, only falls. And I can't for the life of me figure the difference between an athlete fall and an athlete bobble.

- last kick double in coed elite routine is the prettiest kick double I have ever seen

- this is the first time in 5 years I like senior elite more than WCSS. but I don't like Gaga maybe that's why.

- is this csp in the corner of the beginning of ssx video? woman you need to put phone down. your team is on stage.
Me too for SE, and I actually like Gaga. But I do like Nirvana more!!!

Athlete falls are tumbling deduction in switch the athlete falls completely on knees/butt/etc. and athlete bobble is when the tumbling athlete only puts like a hand down and doesn't completely fall

This is what I was thinking, but I just looked at the deduction sheet for this year and hand(s) down is listed under athlete fall as well. I thought I understood it, but now I'm confused too. Athlete bobble (whatever it may be) is not a deduction either way though.

I take "hit" as implying that there were no actual deductions, not no execution errors. Not that I necessarily agree with it.
But I wish, especially when I'm not watching, it was all put out there! Even when some stunts are just doing a straight up, instead of double up, tumble bails and all the rest. I see HIT! and I think WOO HOO, then I watch the video and all sorts of stuff was going on but no deductions!

And isn't cheerupdates still posting bobbles, even though they are not deductions?
Yea, there are definitely inconsistencies. He often posts things like early dismount, omission, missed skill, etc which aren't deductions either.

So clearly the major fall was in the second go, after the time of injury, since there is no tumbling after the pyramid.. Oh well.

It looks more like a regular fall to me, not a major fall, which would be the .75 deduction they received. Even with an extra .5 deduction if it was a major fall they still would have been in 1st.

ETA: And if you add that and a deduction for the fall in the 1st run (so 1.5 in deductions total), they still would have been in 1st too, so it wouldn't have changed the results anyway.

I'm not that bothered about the results, just trying to figure out how they work the score sheets this year haha! I mean there was a base on the floor so I thought that was automatically major.
