Whoop!! Finished and submitted my paper, so now I have a rare day off (Thank you May 2-4 weekend!!). Debating on whether I should do some work around the house or sit on the couch watching bad daytime tv

Has anyone been to Punta Cana before? I know I won't be able to text and call, but will iMessage and FB messaging be reliable ways to contact my family while I'm there?

I don't know if it's barometric changes from the storms that rolled through early this morning/today or what but my head has been banging all day. Caffeine did not help, nor has hydration. Ugh.

So much same.

I have taken ibuprofen, Sudafed, Excedrin, and even a valium with nothing.

Allergies?
I'm allergic to April, May, and part of June. I'm in a constant state of "Just listened to act 2 of Hamilton" (or last night's Game of Thrones. I heard it was sad.). It's super fun to have constant red eyes and stuffed nose and sinuses.

ugh GOT. :( I mean that was a solid 5 episodes without any of my beloved characters dying. I had to have known it was due for someone to die... but I wasn't ready.

I woke up Sunday with my ears blocked and one of them ringing on and off and it's remained since then. A little bit of a headache too, but other than that I've been fine. It's been so annoying.

ETA: spoiler from episode 4 I was sad about Osha last week. But unfazed about all other deaths this season, thus far.

ETA-A: I thought I was editing my post and somehow instead quoted myself. Whoopsies. Sorry.

I saw spoliers on what happened so it eased the pain a little but was I prepared for the entirity of what happened? Not at all.

That other important dude died last episode too and now one of my favorite theories is blown to sh!t.

PS - I am so tempted to start a GOT thread on here.

It wasn't even the death, just the surrounding story that got me. Why'd they have to make it emotional with the only character that has no enemies?

/*------------SPOILERS------------*/

I whole heartedly believe that since HBO kinda has full creative reign over the future of GOT for a bit (because GRRM is busy doing anything but writing) they are going to start ending all the random story lines that GRRM created. But I'm glad they gave Hodor the honorable death he deserved.

Also, did you see this: The first words spoken to Hodor on 'Game of Thrones' foreshadowed his future

Someone had to rub salt in the whole world's wounds, didn't they?

I'm still ever so slightly confused... so I understand where "hodor" came from but why was it the only thing adult Willis ever said? So Bran from the future traveled back in time before he was ever born into Willis' childhood and changed his life before he was ever born? Or am I over thinking it? It's too inception-y for me lol

Agreed about HBO having full creative liberty at this point. GRRM told them how it should end and they'll do whatever they please to get the plot there. I was 95% sure Jon was coming back, but my theory was he was Lyanna's son with Rhaegar (never a bastard at all) and Ned took him in. Because of the Targaryen blood I thought the Night's Watch would burn the body and he'd come back in the fire. Melisandre was my second choice. I still think he's Lyanna and Rhaegar's son, though, if Bran could hurry up in that flashback already because no doubt that scream in the tower was her.

ands maybe we do need a GOT thread lol
