I was not aware there is a non-traveling alternate. What is the point of that?

Actually not sure if they still do it for olympics, but I believe they still name one to the yearly worlds' team. I guess if disaster strikes in podium training or something they fly her in? Brenna was already non-traveling alternate to Worlds in 2014 so I guess me picking her for that role again is cruel.

ehh not a fan of gabby's floor routine, two of the passes just seem to simple, dont know if that really helps or hurts her score or not.

i think its her music that throws me off, its like they tried to fit as many "cutesy" songs in there as possible. the music in general isnt cohesive to me.

Up until this point I had Gabby as close to a lock---after tonight, I'm not so sure she has a spot.

i think after night one my standings on who i think will make it are Aly, Mykayla, Madison, Simone, and Laurie.

I think the team, as of right now is, Simone, Laurie, Aly, Madison and McKayla with alternates being Ragan, Maggie and x (I'd put Gabby here, but I don't think Marta would do that to her)

I think Gabby could still make it.....even though it looked like she gave up and thought oh well I won't fight to stay on the beam. All depends what she does on Sunday!
