My boyfriend ( of 6.5 years) is well aware that there is a no-go block from Thanksgiving to roughly Valentine's Day. Not looking for a ring yet because we have other plans first, but I've laid it out there in advance.

I swear to god some teachers just want to make you struggle? Who gives a final that's majority multiple choice where you get 5 points for a correct answer, -1 for a wrong answer (which is basically -6), and 0 for no answer when the whole semester the tests have been free response??? And it's a high level math class where There are a million chances to make little mistakes on each problem. I'm so annoyed!!!

oh the joys of college, im so glad im done. Ive had prof. do this same thing on tests, like really i get a -1 for a wrong answer when id much prefer just a 0 for a wrong answer.

however if i had the money to go back and redo/change my major i would take on the frustration again in a heartbeat.

I would hate to get engaged around this time. I feel like everyone collectively groans "ANOTHER ONE!?!?" they see new ones pop up daily. You'd just get lost in the "holiday" avalanche of them.

At least that's how my friends and I feel, lol

I had something similar happen in my Cognitive Neuropsychology class my junior year. The rest of the tests were 80-90% multiple choice, and 10-20% diagrams and graphs. The final was flipped and it was 90% diagrams and 10% multiple choice. I had asked him if the final would be the same format as the other tests and he told me yes...he lied. God bless the curve.
