I really like these, but they would’ve been so much better as an actual full top like the had before! The mesh really just makes it look like an after thought because the rest of the uni is so beautiful

Senior Teams will be mesh free crops. As the uniforms are two year it saved families money who may have an athlete that one year is on a junior team and next a Senior (and vice a versa)

Why couldn’t they use a solid fabric underlay instead of a mesh one? As one of those parents who had a kid on junior for year 1 of a new uniform, then had to buy a new top year 2 when she moved to a senior team, I appreciate the effort at cost savings, but seriously, just give CP a solid leotard to wear under it-and it’s not like GK doesn’t make them!

Ugh, I despise mesh stomachs. Can we stop that trend please, folks?

Personally, I would rather them make a true full top. I am not much of a fan of all these crops with converter pieces for an attempt to be compliant. I understand why gyms do it, but gyms could have such amazing uniforms if they would focus on creating a true full top.

I’d imagine a full top would be more comfortable too, yes? My daughter has the mesh top and it’s miserably uncomfortable. It’s itchy and she also has snaps on the crotch and a high neck. They look gorgeous on stage, and we literally have people come up to us at every comp and tell us how pretty their uniforms are, but I know she’d happily take a less pretty uniform to feel more comfortable. I do wish the athleticism was priority #1 over appearance, but I guess this is part of cheer - fashion over function.

That's the idea behind the push to get rid of bows right? I'm happy to at least see baby steps in this direction.
