Oh gosh..pretty much all of mine have been said to be honest, but here are some of them
-scales to arabesque
-double downs to stomachs (they think we don't notice...really?!)
-ankle stretches
-scales that open up oddly ie. too open, too much to the side and to be honest, I hate bent leg scales :( IMO it should be all straight or not at all..it's an easy fix, flyers just stretch! :)
-my BIGGEST pet peeve though is believe it or not, sloppy straight cradles and catches..you could have just hit a beautiful, solid sequence..but then its completely killed with a janky cradle!! I've seen it happen way too many times..especially dismounting out of pyramids!

^^I think things like clean cradles, pointed toes, and flexibility can be taught at the very beginning of the season/cheer career and then they just become habit..however those who are never taught will have a tough time making them a habit.

Scales to Arabesques is the worlds ugliest thing to me, I want to smack any team that does that. One of the worst things EVER for me.

Lately my friend and I were watching our nationals DVD, and started to point out things that annoyed us stunt wise.

Here are mine:

Scale to arabesque- I hate it, I don't know why, I just do.
Flyers who put their hands on the bases heads in sponges. - No! God, it would annoy me as a base and it mucks up there hair and no!!!
Straight cradles from libs- I think they are just messy:(!

So what are yours?

scale to arabesque is potentially the grossest body position sequence created, it just doesn't look right!

LIBS. Hate them, especially before a straight ride cradle.

Also, heel stretches that are pulled to the side, and those that are not kicked up.

im glad nobody said mine! haha i cant stand lib low to high tictocks! i think theyre so ugly. imo the whole point of having the low to high from an opposite stretch is to have the visual/level change of the leg dropping. Lib tictocks should be high to high or it just looks awkward to me!

We teach our level 3's 360
Baskets with 2 arms and it is Definitely not a level 2 straight ride.

I rarely see full twisting baskets with both arms up in the air. The one are technique is proper and the method which I see MANY more teams perform the skill. Dropping the one arm initiates the twisting rotation. It is very progressional to then move to the kick full and kick double. Both of those are also done with one arm up, one arm down. Not saying you are teaching them wrong, but I would say two arms up is in the minority rather than the majority.

One straight leg scorp with 6 ok, or even good scorps. I think its great that someone is that flexible, but for some reason it bothers me. Unless youre highlighting it while other groups reload for some awesome sequence, I dont really care that abby cadabby there in the center is super bendy. Its my OCD kicking in. All things even please. Although, im still super jealous that I cant do it. Whoever told me that all you have to do is stretch is totally lying!

I agree!
and btw....Is Abby Suzies sister?????????

It annoys me body positions dont have standards.

Well, at first I thought it was susie being a showoff, but then I realized it was that Abby. She was tired of not getting the attention so she went to stretch with the Stingrays and said "Booyah Susie! Who is awesome now?!"
