Also, I think Debbie Love has had a huge impact on the industry. I don't know if she would be a real cheerlebrity though?

I was waiting for someone to mention him. As much as people dislike the man he is still someone who has helped build the sport and is def one of the first "cheerlebrities".

A lot of people are listing people that are still on Sr teams right now, I just don't consider them anywhere near the "Original" cheerlebrities. Think people on international teams that have been competeing on the mat for years and the coaches of these high profile teams who were once(possibly still are) just as good if not better then the athletes they are coaching.

I agree, as much as I don't like what he stands for, Jeff Web is why the sport is so loved today. Cheerleaders that's cheered from '95 to now, I definitely don't consider 'original' cheerlebrities. When I think of "original", I think of who set the standards for cheerleaders to follow from the beginning...

From the 2nd generation, because I honestly don't know anyone further than these people!
Bucky o'leary, Lauren Flea, Luke johnson (as a choreographer) Tye Hill, Santwon, James Speed (can't think of any more)
Next generation:
Maddie Gardner, Kelsey Rule, Angel Rice, Erica Englebert, Gabie Dinsbeer, Carly Manning and Kiara Nowlin.
Next next generation:
Hailey Bednar, Laney Madsen.

As much as i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Gabie Dinsbeer, i wouldn't say she was a cheerlebrity, i mean people know who she is, but people know a lot of names on CEA Sr Elite.
I would say instead of Gabie, Toni Broneihski (I can't spell her last name!!)

and For next next generation, Allyson Yeager (I think thats her last name, but i'm not sure what her relationship is to Doug Yeager so...)

Props to you for recognizing Saleem Habash among this list of cheer greats! He still coaches, but now at Dunbar HS, and his name carries TREMENDOUS respect in the HS cheer world
