Someone can correct me if I'm wrong here, but semi-coed is a building level 5 team and coed elite is their true level 5 team. In other words, Semi= not going to worlds, Coed Elite= going to worlds.

No, Semi Limited Coed means a team can have 5-12 boys. CEA Coed Elite is in the Unlimited Coed division, which means they can have as many boys as they want. Both can go to worlds.

Plans for the semi-limited team have changed multiple times. I think it's best to be patient and see what the final decision is. I know there are a number of options based on other things going on in the program

I have no relation to CEA as stated in my signature, but I BELIEVE this is what happened... please correct me if I'm wrong!

Semi Limited went through lots and lots of changes since tryouts in May. After tryouts, a Small Senior 5 team was made out of the Kernersville gym. This team was going to go to different competitions as SSX in Raleigh to avoid competing against each other and would become a International All Girl 5 team after Cheersport. Members of this team did crossover to other teams in the gym, so they obviously wouldn't have been part of the new IAG5. THEN during the summer, the team became a Large Limited 5 team, which is how they have been competing all season. This team received an at-large bid in Indy at Jamfest, and as far as I know, they accepted that bid. NOW so the two LLC teams don't compete against each other at Cheersport, they have become a Semi-Limited team. Future plans I have no clue about!
