i was reading the bid info on UCA's website and it says:

"UCA will award the PAID BIDS to the 3 highest scoring National Champions in the following 8 divisions:
Level 5 Small Senior
Level 5 Large Senior
Level 5 Small Senior Limited Coed
Level 5 Large Senior Limited Coed
Level 5 Senior Semi-Limited Coed
Level 5 Senior Unlimited Coed
Level 5 International Open
Level 5 International Open Coed"

I haven't competed at UCA before on a level 5 team, so sorry if this is a dumb question, but since they are awarding paid bids to the three highest scoring teams does that mean my team (in the semi limited division, where there is only three teams competing), is awarded a paid bid???

I believe they have 3 total paid bids. The 3 first place teams from those divisions with the highest scores get the bids. They don't give 3 bids in each division.

You have to win one of those 8 divisions AND have one of the three highest scores to receive a paid bid. The top 3 of each division doesn't get a paid bid.

I believe that Memphis Elite declined their bid from UPA because on USASF's website, Planet Spirit Thunder was listed as receiving the full paid and at-larges were rewarded to AACS, Fifth Dimension, and Nebraska Allstar Tigers.

They declined it.
