"I think if you had a ring on your finger...no one will ever ask ...."hey...did you win this in the milkhouse?"....just MO"

True...if you won a ring you would be so thrilled you probably wouldn't remember where you competed :)...but that's only one team per division so for the rest it's the experience that counts.

Last year at Jostens they didn't even do the "podium" for silver and bronze in some divisions.

THEY ARENT HAVING INTERNATIONAL IN THE MILKHOUSE AT ALL. ITS NOT WORLDS IF YOU DONT COMPETE IN THE MILKHOUSE

Not true, International Coed 6 is in the Milkhouse both days.

For those asking about the Nations Cup I believe it is the highest scoring team from each country and they get a separate trophy. It is just in the International divisions.

I understand people who are going for the first time that are upset about not being in the milkhouse but if they are that upset I will glady take their spot in the Jostens Center as a competitor so they can sit in the Milkhouse all day and watch the other teams. Please just be able that you are going and getting to compete.

No ones upset about competing, they are upset one venue is better than the other. There aren't pictures of teams competing at Jostens on the USASF website showing the venue filled with people... Its of the Milkhouse.

As long as the two aren't equal, and they arent, people will complain. Stuff won't change mind you, but we feel better venting.

I forgot about the podiums. For awards they need to roll out a few blocks that were painted grey or something. Also not that expensive, just annoying.

And no, winning doesnt matter if youre in a different venue.

What matters is that anticipation is built up ALL season for worlds. Then you get there and youre competing in a basketball court with bleachers 4 rows high and a bunch of folding chairs, with a backdrop made in Paint (bad resolution) and a piece of cloth, and a stage that is about 3 feet off the ground. Then when you win you get to take your picture infront of said cloth on the blue mat.
Jostens = Anti - Climactic

Said a different way, what if the Milkhouse burned down tomorrow and everyone had to compete at Josten's? I think it would be a letdown no matter the gravity of the competition or the placements.

It just is what it is. I think the more effort put on into product at Josten's would not be a bad thing. Black that mug out. Get some NCA lights and throw glow in the dark stars on the ceiling. Make it feel special, then no one would complain.

Isn't this what I was suggesting?? lol

Hall A at Battle at the Beach did this. Darker arena and much more of a light show. The screens were blury and hard to read behind the performers, but it was a good attempt.

Ya, we've been down that road here on the boards a MILLION times. That's like beating a dead horse.... lol

haha yeah, i know. i was sarcastically throwing that out before someone who hadn't been involved in one of those 565843856218 discussions did with full seriousness.
