To Add To This, Gym Tyme Intl Coed 5 Has Yet To Place Top 3 At Worlds So I Wouldn't Say That Their Wins Aren't Credible. They Have A High Concentration Of Talent There But They Are Also Human. I Do Believe However That GymTyme's Open Coed 6 Team Walks Into Worlds Every Year And Already Knows What Ring Size To Tell USASF They Need. Just Sayin....

Wow CA has quite the lead! JW, what Celebrity teams won? I can't remeber any of the top of my head.

Yeah, I'm gonna say this comment is just silly. These athletes are choosing to move their lives to be a part of a program that promises them a level of success that is virtually unmatchable at the college level, and as a bonus, they can be on an all star team as well. But these athletes make the choice to be there.. and they work SO HARD... if you have ever been to a U of L practice, you'd know the incredible pressure these kids are under all the time. They work for and deserve every piece of success they get at the college level, and the all star level. The athletes who do both are often at the gym 5-6 nights a week for Gymtyme practice FOLLOWED BY U of L practice. They work their butts off and to not credit them for that is incredibly insulting to every minute of work they've ever put into cheerleading.

It can also be said by the count that they live and die by the routine. They are complex and difficult routines and if they hit they win Gold. If they don't... well the medal count says it all, they don't place. James Speed, Misty Hodges, and all of the rest of the coaches put the athletes in a position to win every time out.

For those that do not know what each of these kids do, like it was said above, they are in the gym 5 to 6 hrs a night for 5-6 nights a week. They cheer all games for the U of L. and have to maintain grade in order to be a part of U of L. They are some of the best talent in cheer assembled in one area and the dedication to the sport, the team, the university and each other is second to none. I am so proud of my daughter and her team for what they were able to accomplish this year

First ever STUNT Champions
Worlds Gold and a Ring.

It could be said that girls on GT Pink won the triple crown or the trifecta of cheerleading. I think it was the first time it was ever done.

Their International Coed 5 team won in 2006, 2007, and 2008.

Not to discredit GymTyme's success, but I have never valued their wins as I do others. That is, University of Louisville attracts the premier cheer athletes from the entire country; many are concentrated in one city and participate on GymTyme's all-star teams. That is the nature of the beast, and they are truly talented. It's just not the same type of win to me.

Thats bogus, it's not like they have the entire Louisville All Girl team competing together/doing the same routine.. My friend is on Pink and she was on small coed and there were girls competing on Pink that did not compete on her team at Nationals (not to mention small coed has boys obviously and Pink does not) and the center flyer for All Girl is on Black and stunted on guys.

I'm sure they have all of those globes sitting in one gym right now, I think they should be combined.

Cheer Athletics has something like a 96% medaling chance when they bring a team to worlds, too. I don't remember the exact number, but I remember it was CRAZY high.

Another cool thing to note is that CA has won their 10 medals in 7 different divisions. They're diversified!

The medals should stay under the original gym's name. eg Infinity Titans won 2 globes and that should never be diminished or forgotten. An asterisk can distinguish that they have merged, but the numbers and accomplishments belong to the people that wore that name.

I agree with the Open Coed 6 thing. and it really doesn't help that they wear U of L uniforms. That always throws me. Like are you GymTyme or U of L? at worlds it should be GymTyme. and I know I know I get the logistics of not having to buy another uniform but still...

Count them as Celebrity, East Elite then ECE. I agree with @ACEDAD about what's on your uniform when you win your globe.
