I'm having a bad start to an awesome day. I've got an audition for a paying gig (not sure how much, but even if it were $50 that at least pays back for my trip there, AND some!)..but I just heard back from my professor about something:

Essentially, although I 'graduated' I essentially didn't. My professor chose to give me an incomplete on my project (for reasons outside my control, but I understood), which means I don't have enough credits until I finish it. I'm trying to make up for the work and finish it, but he's making it REALLY difficult. Originally I was going down for a 30 minute meeting (I live 2 1/2 hours away, and it costs me $30 minimum to get there) every two weeks or so, which was frustrating but I figured it'd be over soon once I got what I thought was the last of my things sent in to him. Then, he says he wants me to put in some MORE hours on this project (honestly, there's NOT much to do with this thing, I don't get why he's making it so complicated?!)..here's the rub. He wants me to come to his class (which meets twice a week in the middle of the day, Tues and Thurs)..I don't know how much longer he wants me to show up, it'd cost me at least $60 a week (assuming he wants me at both classes) JUST to get there..never mind food. PLUS I'm trying to find a job, and that would essentially knock 3 days out of my work schedule, all because he INSISTS on doing stuff there, and that he wants me to work with the students. I don't think he realizes how little I actually had to do with this project (I was mostly the 'go-between' for him and this student, who is the REASON I'm in this mess), essentially just designing the banner, giving suggestions and ideas to make it more functional/user friendly.

SO- what do I say to this professor? I tried telling him it's really difficult for me to get there for fiscal reasons, but I don't think he seems to get it. I also don't think he realizes that the trip itself is 2 1/2 hrs including train AND driving to the station..I honestly just want to be DONE with this but my parents think everything's on the up-and-up (and I'm NOT telling them otherwise).
