Eclipse is the medium team which before was supposed to be based out of their new gym in Waldorf. I'm not sure if they are still practing there or in Glen Burnie. And Weather Girls is going to be small and a half year team again. F5 will probably never ever go small. The world might end first.

After winning worlds, i dont think that they would step down to small. Im 99% sure they're large

F5 is definitely large. The team from waldorf (eclipse) is going small. So maybe they just heard that Twisters is going small and assumed F5 which would be incorrect. And since waldorf is small, there are other options for weather girls...
Combine into 1 small senior for worlds, combine into medium senior, make a medium senior, make a small limited with other boys.

I was just about to say um, they already have a small senior team haha.

I don't know why they would do that again. Everyone knows Weather girls would've done much better if they were created as a full year team.

Actually I kind of like the idea of the half year team. It gives girls from Supercells and Velocity to focus on their own teams at competitions until the last month or 2 of the season. Also from now until the time of tryouts, all of those girls get time to increase their skill set so they have more to work with when they do choreography. If anything, since they kind of have a feel of what to do with the team now, they'll do even better at worlds! :)

I could see them making Weather Girls medium. Between the two locations, I would be surprised if they couldn't come up with a strong 30 girls to put together a half year team. I'm not sure coed would work since it seems like we have a shortage of boys in the Maryland area :( (but who knows maybe they have some boys up their sleeves!).

I think they have boys on velocity that aren't on Reign correct?

But if it was a full year team, girls can try out and make things fit and now they have the advantage of having a full year to get ready. When we get to the middle of the year I think that's when things really start to get interesting and teams are coming together. They would've been a lot more polished or had some changes that probably would've had them done better at worlds instead of rushing to be prepared.

Twisters don't do large numbers of cross overs during the regular season, they try to keep them to a minimum. So it wouldn't really fit their gym's approach to have Weather Girls be full year right now. I think they are dedicated to developing this group of girls on Juniors and SO5, so that they are fully ready to move onto teams like Reign and F5. Weather Girls is more of a bonus at the end of the year to try and give these girls a worlds experience. So while you are correct they would probably do better at worlds if they were full year, they might miss out on some of the age appropriate and developmental benefits that Jrs and SO5 provide them. So having Weather Girls as a half year team is a win-win for the kids, regardless of whether or not they globe at worlds. (p.s. these are my observations, if I have misrepresented the gyms intentions, a current gym member can please correct me)

I am no longer a Twisters member, but I think this was perfectly stated.
