My daughter is small sr 3 this year and the division is tiny. I thought with the the minor age grid change it would grow but I’m finding 4.2 to be larger at local comps. A huge change for us coming from J2 and J3 last year.
Has this always been a small division?
Hi all! Newbie here! I apologize for the long note & hope it’s ok to post a long comment. But I am heartbroken about this. I am the parent of a senior who had been on her V team since she was a freshman. We had only 13 girls at the time so it was no cut and we had to be V. She has struggled...
Do you belong on Shooting Stars, Panthers, Senior Elite, or Orange?

I just watched their video of their first practice and they look STACKED. Granted, I’m not sure what a first practice typically looks like at a top gym, but if anyone is doing better than them right now it can’t be by much. Maybe I’m just an HS coach stunned by...

Cheer Extreme Senior Elite has a cult following and it’s not hard to see why. The decorated team is adored by fans almost as much as they are adored by their coach, Courtney Smith-Pope. Although they have never won NCA (large senior is a bloodbath!) the tradition and the...

I am a mentor for a teen who wants to cheer in college, ideally on a competitive team. (Would LOVE to cheer for U Memphis or U Arkansas). She has been a top and backspot for S3 (5'4" and about 110 lbs) but cannot afford financially to cheer all star this year. She is homeschooled and will be...

For years, rumors have swirled around the cheer industry about a “Large Senior Curse” for the L5 Large Senior All Girl division. The curse is fairly simple: “If you win NCA, you won’t win Worlds.” After a very successful season of not only winning NCA, but taking the...
In the beginning of the video below the flyer on the left braces with a flyer in a thigh stand and is tossed to another stunt group. Is this legal for a senior level 3 team??
