When I was a camp counselor I was supposed to do the same..I always felt horrible because the kids I was with were usually 5-6 and could NOT understand why I didn't 'love them' enough to hug them. They always looked so devastated and it's just so sad. What are you supposed to say? 'Sorry, I just don't want to get slapped with a lawsuit?'

its sad that a small percentage of people can ruin it for everyone and make it necessary to make laws that most people shouldn't have to worry about.

I had the same when i was a camp counselor, i was there teaching cheer and tumbling but had to watch where i catch flyers/ spot tumbles... i argued that if a kid was falling out a stunt i will catch them however i can id rather stop them hitting the matt rather than worry about how i catch them!

this makes me tear up, i cheer for keystone extreme and we see you guys a lot (very good job this year) and hershey is always our last comp. so we always have people like this. best of luck to you<3

my teams ending pose after day 2 of UCA nationals. i think its cool because our coach is walking away with his hand in a #1 and hes wearing our redemption shirt which is what our teams goal was for nationals this year♡

this was from 09, i believe during our round 2 performance after one of our girls tore her acl and we had to redo the routine and compete with 19.
