After listening to it a few more times I really like everything but the first voiceover....

am i the only one who thinks that the voiceover is fine?
i don't see how everyone hates it lol....
I just think it's too long and wordy for an opening v/o. The first little bit was cool, but the second half just seems to drag on for me. It's got some cute bits in it (especially if you dig their theme idea) but all together, for a mix that doesn't have a LOT of v/os, it's WAY too long for me. I like a little intro v/o (like Twist and Shout's radio tuner opening last year)..but it's the type of v/o (for me, anyway), where if ANYTHING but motions is going on during it I'll completely forget it even existed. I'll be too busy watching what they're doing!

If you LOVE Stars, you will LOVE this mix. If you like Stars, this mix might get skipped over in favor of something else. In and of itself (ignoring what it stands for/contains), I don't find it OHMAHGAWD amazing..Although it might be cool for the younger peeps who don't know Stars history for people to post what songs came from what mix. It might help people get into it if they can actually go back and watch those routines.

yeah it was a little too wordy, i agree with you, but i love the 'shooting stars land' part. i cannot wait to see this routine and all the incredible tumbling in the opening.

Maybe if they broke it up into smaller sections..because I do think it was cute and very fan-oriented. Just too much talking lol From what I remember, it also doesn't have a really good back beat, which threw me off. It's kinda quiet..

i absolutely cant stand how the celine song cuts off, it ruins the whole pyramid for me!! :(

IMO, the mix is very copy and paste. I understand that the theme is WC SS over the years "greatest hits is a GENIUS idea"- and even though the choreograhy, i am sure, flows smoothly from one transition to the next, i feel the mix could have been sooo much better. My opinion might change when i see the routine, but for now. IM a bit disappointed

Not gonna lie. When I was listening to it I expected 100% to hear Fashionista for the dance. It was disappointing. Haha.

Does anyone else kind of feel like their dance song doesn't mesh well with the rest of the routine? I like the beat, but it doesn't really seem like them.

I love Fashionista, so I hear what your saing but to me it makes perfect sense to have their own dance music and swagger Jagger is prefect. The song is a little different but I don't hate it. I think it is perfect for the new WCSS 2011-2012. It is so unlike SS! So I'm looking forward to the Next Generation of WCSS.

i love the idea of the throwback.. but i dont really like the mix. but i love stars and im sure after i see the routine the music will grow on me
