All-Star Copycat Elite Allstars...

there is a new team in town, copycat elite allstars, you might have the feeling you've seen them before, but it wasn't them, just their music and their routine by another team...

who else has experiances with other teams copying your music and/or parts of routine?
and what did you do about it?

I approached them when this happened to us and the coach told me that they saw a really cool pyramid online and went to their local allstar gym and said ' we want the exact same pyramid with all the same motions and head twirls in the same spots' to the owner of the allstar team and they taught it to them, funny thing is that I would of happily taught to them for a nominal fee, worst part, the allstar team that taught it to them was one of our rival teams, go figure.

LAWL there's apparently a team that uses parts of our dance in their routine. So weird because we're not even a known gym.

Two years ago, my team was at a competition in WA and we were all just waiting around for awards and a team had a solid 30 seconds of music that was the same mix with the same sound effects as ours. Sooo weird.

We host a rec competition for the county. I heard soooooo much siphoned music. Like I can't even count. Not like the ltitle pre-mixed clips you can buy from cheer music store. Like the exact music. Cheer Athletics Wildcat's worlds music, California, there were more but those were the two that stood out. Not to mention, a team from France at worlds last year had some of our exact VO's. and the entire 1st half of the music. Were not a big name gym so I don't even know how that happened...

You will probably see MORE local school teams using well-known all-star teams' Worlds music by the end of basketball season here. Matter of fact, I know you will. :/ Grrr. Guess I have to grin and BEAR it.

I was at my local junior cheerleading competion (like middle schoolers and below) and the infamous squad that's always the one to beat had Cheer Athletics and SSX music and voice overs. I was like SMH

your exactly rightttt.... my sister was at your competition and she used cheer athletics, this is because shes not a cheerleader she just needed some really cool music for her little flag (mini in rec cheering) girls.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel as though you have to have AMAZING talent to use SS's "who owns the throne?" voiceover.

It irks me when I go to competitions and level three teams have this voiceover. Plus I'm confused on what throne they own because they don't go to worlds.

It's not a voiceover, it's part of a song. Just about every worlds team had it last season.

I understand the high school teams using a pyramid, mostly because they probably saw it at a comp or on Youtube and gave it a try. But for love of baby Jesus in his tiny diaper...change the music!
