I remember being 10 or 11 and watching these girls perform in Indy. I think it was my first year cheering... and they are the reason I still do. <3

I've watched them on TV at nationals since before I can remember....

Those are my two. :3

For the last couple days, Ive been thinking about what people thought were some of the most iconic cheerleading uniforms ever. So post what you think some of them are and maybe a picture if you have one! :)

I'm thinking most people here don't know what "iconic" means.

I don't have a picture but Spirit of Texas....even though all the gyms around them were changing uniforms left and right, they kept the same classic look. I do love what they have been doing with their new uniforms lately..still classic but updated.

However, this young lady does know!

Iconic is classic, conventional & traditional.

SOT is likely the epitome of iconic. Most others aren't even close.

So a gym that changes their uniform every year or so; a gym that is "pushing the envelope" isn't wearing a uniform that is iconic.

The University of Alabama football uniform is iconic.

The University of Oregon football uniform is not.

Well if we're gonna go Cheer Savannah, let's go full out. Everyone probably will always remember all of these, and they're probably not "iconic" in all the good ways, but hey, it's Cheer Savannah.

And probably not iconic, but I just had to. These wigs still creep me out.

Regardless of how they looked this routine was lightyears ahead of its time. The difficulty was insane for 07

Horrendous is what that is. Music wasn't much better. The candy themed Savannah unis are SO much better this year. They finally figured out how to go right to the line with themes without crossing into trippy dippy land.
the cheer savannah uniforms aren't candy themed this year... red and pink are just there colors now.
