i really DONT like alot of yellow in a uni, unless its with blue or black..our unis are blue, black, white and yellow. just the band under the top and on the top of the shirt is yellow and a few other little litte areas. but i really cant stand when the whole uniform is yellow. i dont like yellow&red together..it makes me think of mcdonalds. haha.

Spirit of Tyler has always had....eh.....interesting uniforms........
Used to see them at some of the same regionals in the dfw area before I went off to college.
Back in the day they had all silver mystic uniforms with a giant star on the butt that was a different color for each team (circa 2006? i think). Then there were one piece white ones with a tutu bottom and a polkadot belt.....the girls spray painted their reeboks pink that year. Then there was a monokini bathing suit type uni :http://www.facebook.com/pages/Spiri...83328389&set=o.106822876012852&type=3&theater
They used to be pink and black though so i guess the highlighter yellow is new this year........

well somebody should tell them not to do that!!

Well they've read your comments and they heard y'all loud and clear. This is about the uniforms not the way some has them on. Unless that's what you want to make this into....everyone post a picture of yourself in your uni and let the comments begin....

They were commenting on the FIT of the uniform, not the girl wearing the uniform. If the skirts are rolling down, or the tops are riding up, it's an improper fit. It's distracting, could cause a "wardrobe malfunction" that would embarrass a girl, and gym owners need to remember that their uniform is their #1 piece of advertising and PR. When athletes are walking around in your uniform, they are a walking billboard for your business. Now, if that girl is walking around in a perfectly fitted, athletic and classy uniform, with hair and makeup done....she's a GREAT advertisement for your business. Put that same girl walking around in a poorly fitting uniform (too tight, muffin top on a skinny girl), Uggs, and hair on top of her head in what we call "a snot knot" or "rats nest"...she's a poor advertisement for your gym. If anyone at that competition is thinking about switching gyms and they see that everyone on your team is wearing a too small uniform (even the tiniest girls are tugging at their tops and fighting muffin tops) they're going to look for another gym!

I was referring to this comment which is why I chose to quote it:

I didn't know you were part of this conversation or I would've quoted your post if you said something about them. These girls are not advertising for me, I do not own a gym.....they got their feelings hurt and that's all I care about......They got their uniforms 1 day before this competition so if someone wants to criticize they should know some details. Do you not think any young girl would like to look perfect in her uniform? I am happy to report there was no wardrobe malfunction and no one decided to leave the gym because of it. So no need to be concerned. The results were enough to have everyone pretty happy=)

I saw girls at the airport in their uniforms after the comp. with no jacket, nothing covering them, would I change my mind if I was planning to go to that gym no, did they lose any points no, did that gym kick some butt at the comp yes.....trashy yes!
