does anyone notice the times on the updated schedule are really off? the allstar teams in hall a have 2 hours between there last warm ups and there performance times. and there showing the level 5 teams warm up at 128 AM! obviously this is a big typo lol

Saw them this past weekend and they definitely have skills, but were still a little sloppy. Hopefully they worked on it this week and can secure that bid, always proud to root on a Jersey team!!!

Because not all open teams (particularly level 6 which has less kids whose parents are paying) want to spend the money to go to worlds?

This competition makes you declare up front if you're going for a bid or not. In the past they've actually split the division into those going for bids and those not. Saves the effort of having to decline down the road.

Of course, I'm not from Cheer Intensity so I can't speak for them. Maybe their IOC5 team is the more competitive team and level 6 just wants to have fun and compete relatively locally?

I was just seeing if it was something else other than finances. Trust me I know the financial issues of open teams. I'm 26 and been doing open teams since 2005, I know what issues happen with Open teams.

yep thats it- we didn't make it a financial commitment when joining. Plus, we have 5 crossovers from i5 that we would have to replace for worlds if we ended up getting a bid since you can't compete on 2 teams at worlds and Cobras is planning on going to worlds if we get a bid.

i think spirit central will get the all girl and ece medium coed will get the coed. i have no idea about the other

I am going to go with an International Coed team getting the paid bid for coed or the "other" paid bid.

I'm not sure what raw scores were for senior divisions at Athletic, but ECE i5's raw score day 1 would have put them in place for one if all the other teams kept their post-deduction score.

But it really comes down to who hits. And you can never count out a team that doesn't do well on day 1.
