Haha, i've always been on fierceboard:) My other account was like abandoned cuz i forgot the password. (I'm not a newbie!!!) There should be a "Mini Worlds" Like one for little kid teams, such as Junior, Youth, and Mini! I highly doubt I'd ever be able to go to worlds, because
1: My team barely leaves the state
2. The team is a level 4.2
3. They are just starting out.
Hopefully one day, though, i'll just go to worlds to watch:)

No matter what level team you are on, no matter how big or small your gym, keep working hard to be the best cheerleader you can be. Cheer teaches you life lessons and gives you the chance to meet and get to know so many people. Enjoy every second of it!

That's what international all levels is supposed to do. They have 8 sites so there should be one not terribly far from your program somewhere. Best of luck.

Speaking of US Final Destinations has anyone gone? Our gym is considering going. The only reservations I have is that the kids are soooooo done. Tryouts are looming and everyone is already looking to next years teams etc...

I went...it's not that great. I went in 08/09 and it was so underwhelming. You compete one day, and the venue is tiny. Not worth it.

to me it sounds like you have a lot of years as a rec cheerleader but only one in All stars, so to say you know "everything" is a bit of a stretch.. I've had kids in this sport for 10 years and don't know everything (not even close ;)) I've seen your Sr Level 2 perform and for your first year the team is doing great (if I was to guess some of your coaches are from a team that closed called Marysville allstars). What I would suggest is that after the level 2 awards next year, that you ask your family if you could stay for the higher divisions and watch the level 4 and level 5 teams that compete in this area. Maybe after watching Connect Allstars, South Elite Allstars , Elite Force Cheer, Champion Cheer, Oregon Dream and Vancouver Allstars (which all have level 5 teams competing at Worlds this year) you might have a better understanding of the caliber of teams that compete at Worlds. I wish your team the best for the upcoming year and I hope to see you competing.

We went to va beach in 08/09 and were summarily unimpressed. We've decided to get back in the business of the 1-4 overall championship but are going to international all levels in atlanta.

Different levels compete each day so each team goes once.
