If I buy the video on demand for worlds, will I get videos from this year too or just last year and the years before? Also, If I do get videos from this year, how quickly will they be posted? Thanks to anyone who can help!

You will get videos from this year. I bought it last year, and plan on doing it again.I was also able to watch videos from Worlds 2010, so you should be able to do so with Worlds 2011 :)

Yeah from 2008 on you get if you buy the VOD
Quick question for anyone who has it purchased from last year, has it expired? I tried to go on the other day and it just didn't give me the option to watch the video. If I remember correctly it didn't expire 2 weeks before Worlds last year but I could be wrong!

chyeeaaa69 I just tried to log on and it didn't work from the home page but once I started to register for this year it recognised my email and I was able to log in and watch last years videos still without updating my subscription yet.

Oh okay thanks! :)

Does anyone know what the difference is between the VOD package and the live stream $25 one (or whatever it is called)? Do either of them actually live stream the performances on your computer or do you have to wait until an hour after? I'm not sure what package to buy.. And there's not much info on the site. $35 seems a bit pricey though :S

This will be the first year they've done live stream so I don't know that anyone outside of the people preparing the service can give you any info.

As with anything, you have to decide if you think it's worth the cost. If people don't buy it at that price, they'll either lower the price or not do it again.

the live stream should actually be a live stream but it says "ios mobile only" so i don't think you can watch live on a computer i think that means iphone/ipad only? i personally think the vod package is worth more because you can watch the 2012 videos at any time once they are up & the last 5 years of worlds videos as well for 1 year. the videos show up shortly after from about a half hour to an hour after the actual performance but nothing bad.. with the vod last year videos would pop up/get posted as you were watching ones already posted so it's not like you're being tortured with nothing to watch!

So the VOD is $25 and you think its more for your money.....I was planning on going(to worlds) but I recently got the news that I wasnt able to go.
Ive never bought it before and was thinking about purchasing it this year.

I think the VOD has been worth the price every year. There have been bumps from time to time, but watching every routine for a year is pretty worth it. Can't speak to the Live version because I just haven't seen it in action yet.

The VOD is actually $35. It's the Live Stream that is $25.

Ok thanks for the tip! :) I had no idea this was the first year they'd done that - I've never tried to watch Worlds live before so this is my first time too, I just assumed it was something they already offered. Knowing this, it may be better to go VOD knowing the inevitable problems they will have with live stream if its the first time.

Yeah the "IOS Mobile" thing was what I was worried about - I don't really want to watch it on my iPhone cause it'd just be hard to see everything clearly, which makes a massive difference! Thanks for your tips that really helps! :) Think I'll go with the VOD then.
