How is it different than saying "i'm not a fan of Maddie Gardner"???

It's not like he/she was BASHING him.
actually I would say the exact same thing if someone said that about Maddie. After reading the comments I understand that he was probably just saying he didn't like that he flew, but I read it as he doesn't like this kid at all. I would have said, "I don't like when boys fly". Personally I just felt offended.

Im sorry if you took it like that....i def did not mean it in that way

I don't understand why it is weird to have a boy fly. He's tiny, he's flexible, he's fierce... the only thing going against him is his gender. I'm not a fan of gender discrimination, for anything - I don't think it helps anyone or anything to say "you can't do XYZ because you're male/female."
I respectfully disagree.

personally, my reason is the pants in the air. when its an elite section or theyre not center for pyro/baskets, they look different because their legs are in pants and not skin. that probably sounds so silly, lol. its true though, the uniformity bugs me big time.

This is just my opinion but it looks strange...the male uniform throws off the lines of the routine for me if that makes sense.

I think the only reason I don't like when boys fly is because of the uniform thing. I like to see a team with solid stunts and every flyer hitting it perfectly, and if he does props to him, but with the whole pants and top thing it makes it look less..hm..fierce?

Makes perfect sense to me and is my reason for hating it as well! Has nothing to do with the fact that he is a male vs a female.
