Within 1 hour of us in Mississauga (a suburb of Toronto) there are 11 gyms/clubs with two reportedly on the way. The over-saturation of cheer has come to Canada.

List may be a bit inaccurate, there are probably 3-4 of those that aren't within an hour. There are probably 10-15 that should be on this list that aren't. (Feel free to add/delete) My apologies if I left your gym off of the list. Bold are the program that I believe have gotten Worlds bids in the past. Many of the other gyms have had strong teams that would have gotten bids in nearly any other part of the country.

There are a bunch, that is for sure. Every year, several more pop up. It is amazing to me that the market can support that many gyms. Many of them seem to be well-run and have been around for a LONG time.

That being said, there have been dozens that have gone out of business also. This would be a tough market for someone new - particularly at L5.

I live in Jersey, and where I live pretty much every gym is within an hour from me, give or take a little time. Good thing WC is just 35 mins away

It's crazy in California especially because California All Stars, PCM and Cheerforce all have multiple locations and all locations are within an hour.. In just southern California their are 18 gyms - CALI (3) PCM (4) OC/FIERCE (2) ENERGIE (1) INTENSITY (1) CHEERFORCE (3) CALIFORNIA FLYERS (1) SCV (1) DESERT VALLEY MAVERICKS (1) SPIRIT (1) I might even be missing a few smaller gyms... you'll never have a hard time finding a gym in California... Even in Nor Cal their are several gyms - CALI, POWER, CHEERGYMS just to name a few...

There is also Victory Cheer Company, Rockstar Athletics, California Surf, and Apex All Stars, just to add a few more Southern California gyms.

Texas has had 9 different programs win cheer globes at Worlds. (6 of whom have won 2 or more.)
