All-Star 2012-2013 New Uniforms

our uniforms from varsity finally showed up friday afternoon and our first competition was saturday, so some kids were getting them the day of the competition... it wouldn't have been so bad if the skirts were even remotely close to fitting. all of the itty bitty girls on my mini team with YS skirts were fine, but the rest of them were swimming in their skirts to the point where i was afraid they were going to fall off while they were walking... luckily we brought lots and lots of safety pins. i was fixing some of their skirts between stations in the warm up gym

It's just really unfortunate that you spend all that money on a custom uni and then still have to go get it altered.

It us what it is. My sister had to have her custom gk Allstar uniform altered just the same as her high school varsity brand uniform.... Although her motion flex varsity uniforms fit perfectly.

I've always liked getting uniforms altered so that they can look how I think they should look. And it's never expensive

For how much I'm paying for my cp's uniform it better fit her like a glove... Alterations shouldn't be needed if they were already sized once. I understand if a few sizes were off but not every girls skirt being so big that it flares out like that (unless thats the look they were going for.)

And I had the opposite problem with my unis from Varsity... most of the skirts were all waaay too small! Which is almost more of a problem since you can't really get them altered to be made bigger without ruining the skirt. *sigh*

Totally agree, but I never not had to alter my kids unis no matter who makes them

All of these skirts dont seem to fit right they bell and the tops look to big. I dont know if it is the fabric, style, etc. , but I wish they fit better so I can like them. I know Im a little bias, but I have never had a problem with GKs fit. No company can come close to the way our uniforms fit.

Yes. And the skirt was too big and the sleeves too long.

It was also a halter style uniform and the neck strap also had to be altered.

For me, Lady Elite just needed to lose the dog collar, change the skirt a wee bit and (just cause I'm a sucker für lettering) have the name on the chest...

I wish CEA wouldn't have done all of those level 5 teams at the same time. I feel like they started running out of ideas and that's why some are so much better than others. They should have just done 2 a year for the next few years.

On another note-- I'm really excited to see Swooshcats uniforms after what I saw from CA at worlds!
