paid bids what? i understand memphis elite and GBE but how can blacksmack not get a paid?! i'm so confused

internationals teams couldn't get a pay bid from this competeition

They can until Thursday. Once accepted, they can not be handed down.

Bids wouldn't get handed down. But usually before the level 5's compete each gym lets the judges know what they will accept. Some gyms like my daughter's only will accept a paid bid. So at our last comp we were not announced at all during the bid announcements for at large even though we were 4th highest score. It's completely at the gyms discretion.

True. I will say that if the final scores I wrote down are correct, the two Cali teams were definitely ahead of the other level 5s with Black Ops just a couple of points ahead of Smoed. I know that doesn't matter when it comes down to Super 6, but I imagine the judges had to consider the scores as well.

I'm pretty sure you are correct, although i don't remember the overall scores. GSSA has yet to update the final results from the competition. I do know that Black Ops was also named Level 5 division Champions.

i'm pretty sure they got their bid there last yr...i think for international teams they had to have the highest level 5 score (grand champs) to get the paid
