am i surprised by cea and maryland fitting on twitter... no.
but i am surprised that these kids think that its okay to bash the other cheerleaders on the winning team, etc....
its not really the teams fault, its more of a judges fault for crappy scoring. i think ALL teams need to learn how to lose gracefully without bashing the other team. and in this day and age with social media, maybe some of the coaches need to give a little lesson on how to properly represent your program/team after a rough day or good day. wether its a small comp. or worlds, losing sucks, but all the ranting in the world isnt gonna change the fact that you still lost.

Well and we all know how gyms have such strict social media policies/rules....oh wait, that's only after worlds and throughout the summer. NOT in the middle of nationals season when there are jackets and rings to be won. Please feel free to say/do whatever you want!! Carry on!

There were several members of Lady Elite walking around with championship jackets prior to medium awards and other team names were noticed on some of the bags.

Anyway, Baffled at the Capitol fits this event perfectly!! Is there a shortage of judges this year?? The scores of so many teams did not make sense. Some teams that performed worst on Sunday had higher scores than Saturday!!!

Jr Elite Princesses had already had awards and won!

Battle very rarely hits my radar, although it tends to be very popular for east coast teams, particularly smaller gyms. I'm not familiar enough with the scoring to be too perturbed, as from at least the level 5 stand point, everything was pretty straightforward to me. It's 50/50, you hit solid and clean, you'll do well. The teams that seemed to win were the teams that did that. If you didn't hit clean both days, are you surprised things didn't go your way? Granted, I didn't see anything from other levels, so who knows on that front.

Execution aside, when you need to hit 5 different body positions to max out, and you don't...you shouldn't be outscoring the teams that do. When you need 8+ stunts (for medium divisions) to get the full 10 points in quantity, and you don't...you shouldn't be outscoring the teams that do.

Jr Elite Princesses had already had awards and won!

Congrats to Jr. Elite! Supercells took a blood bath on Day 2 at BATC with injuries. What got CP to LOL that night while icing her knee? Learning that Cells had actually scored higher on Day 2 than Day 1. Baffling (but I don't know of any videos showing how much better they were Day 1). No matter - Jr. Elite deserved the win regardless. Cells in healing mode, and hopes to give Jr. Elite a better run for their money in Dallas.

I dont think its fair to say these teams hate each other...while some want to point out inappropriate tweets..I also saw pics on instagram and twitter of reign girls with some of the cea boys posing for pics together.

I saw nothing but great sportsmanship the entire weekend! so many great programs, coaches & athletes!

I like that routine a lot! Tumbling seemed so synched a majority of the time. Also looked pretty clean. Liked the first stunt sequence.

Several members of Lady Elite cross to Jr Elite Princesses, 1 to Sm Jrs, a couple Salem Sr. Open 5, a few (3 or 4) to Lake Norman Sr. Rest. 5, 1 to Charlotte AG4, 1 that is filling in on Coed Elite through Dallas.

I met a Cells mom in awards for Jrs and had the best time talking with her…even exchanging phone numbers!
We always have loved competing with you guys!!!
