I have gone to World's pretty much every single year and I am so disappointed in this! I mean this is terrible! It's bothering me to the point that I don't even think it's worth dealing with the hassle on Monday! And I hate that I have gotten to that point of feeling this way because we all wait all year for this!

I agree with so many of you, this is going to be dangerous and people hiding all over the Milkhouse!

What are they going to do with the people in the restrooms or in line for the restrooms? No you have to hold it? This is going to be WAY worse than last year!
They do clear out arenas for March madness between games, but I am guessing that they are staffed to handle it, I just wonder if the staff is ready for the cheer craziness that may take place as they try to clear out the arena between sessions! Yikes!

I agree now the chaos experienced last year on Sunday morning, will just be extended to both entry and exit of the Monday sessions. They will have people rushing to get out of session 1 and 2 to get in line for the next session. They will have many people in line that will be unhappy because they won't get in to a given session. I guess if you are a parent, you'd be wise to be in line for your child's session early (prior to the previous session ending). I will be watching from home this year, so I am a little relieved not to be a part of the craziness ;)

Im watching from home this year too so it will be interesting to see how this all plays out but it doesnt sound like it is going to be good at all .

It's sure stressing me out. I have been a spectator for years. I am giving up on watching any of the other sessions and just worrying about my kid's session. I guess that was their point...to drive people like me out of the arena.

At UCA, the Disney staff was quite snarly...definitely not the happiest place on earth that I am used to at Disney. There was a Braves spring training game, lacrosse and UCA going on. And honestly, it seemed like the venue was empty compared to Worlds.

I think that's the thing that bother's me the most. True die hard fan's are not going to be deterred by this outrageous price hike. The only people that it's truly hurting are the parents and WE'RE the ones who've been footing the bill for this expensive sport for years and years and years and years and years.......etc. Without us and our level 5 kids there is NO Worlds. And quite frankly NOBODY cares.

I completely agree with you! I had my time competing in Worlds and now that it's over and my mom got to watch me. Every year since, we go as spectators and we just discussed it and we are definitely not going on Monday anymore. Which makes us both sad, but we would rather give up our seats at this point in hopes that a parent can see their child. It's just with the way they are doing it this year that really made us come to that decision! I think it's crappy for people at all aspects this year!

You let me know if you can't get in Sunday-CP and me will gladly give up our seats so you can watch your daughter!

The sessions "solution" does not address overcrowding. And I'm not even sure it was supposed to. All it does is *possibly* address the issue of parents not getting to see their kids. I see it the same as last year, but the unhappy people stuck outside, will be swapped with the people inside and now unhappy stuck outside because they end up at the back of the line.

Do I think every effort should be made for parents to see their kids? Of course. But I don't think it's also right to tell another paid spectator they can't watch. And no, I do not count the jumbotron as an equal alternative.

Situations like this, always bring me back to this commercial....

I honestly don't think it's the paid spectators that are even driving the overcrowding. I think it's the sheer number of teams.

*cough* limit bids *cough*

Sorry, I didn't quite get that last part...sounds like you have a frog in your throat...;)

This to me would also be the best solution...afterall, this is supposed to be the end-all, be-all of competitions and the very best in the World...HELLO!?!

I just wonder if they have some sort of contract with Disney now that says so many people have to come, or if it just comes down to shear profit and how much both Varsity...or excuse me...USASF/IASF...and Disney really make here and they don't want to limit those unpaid bids becasue those are the teams they make all their cash money on!
