Bows I'm making for my old club's new level 3 junior coed team. :)
Hard to tell, but the blue has little blue sparkles all over that light up really well under lights :)

Possible Bow request/help.

My sister has college cheer try outs in about a month and a half. Can anyone recommend a place online that sells ribbon (3 inch grosgrain) in yard increments (i.e. I need 1 yard of Navy and 1 yard of gold). I know there is an online that does this bc I've ordered from them before, but I can't think of their name. I'm capable of making her bows myself, but since I'm at the end of my career of having to make cheer bows again (yaaay)... I'd rather not invest in excessive yards of fabric.

If I can't track down the place that sells ribbon in 1 yard increments, is there anyone that could make two bows for me without charging an arm and a leg?

Thanks!

I PMed you. My team has the same colors and I've got 3" in stock!

okay, i have a question for selling at an event. how to you do it? I am selling bows at our end of season showcase this coming sunday, and i was thinking about having a sale on my bows and selling them for $10.
also do you attach price to the bows? if so, how?
do you bag it up for them or just let them take it?
Do you give a card with your site or contact info on it when they make a purchase?

if you do not sell your bows for $10 then do not do it at the competition. You can do a BOGO (Buy One, Get One) it could be $5 off, or 1/2 off, whatever. The reason why you do not want to sell for example a $15 bow for $10, you will not be able to ever sell that bow for the regular price either at a venue on online, because your customers that pay $10 now will not pay $15 later, they will feel cheated.
2. No, do not put the price on your bows only because it will take away from the look/attraction of the bow. If you have your bows laid out on a table, use a tent card to display your cost.
3. I always offer a bag and always include a card. I also have stickers with my business name, website and phone number on every bag.
Hope this information is helpful. Good luck!
