How would you define "elite"?

Sometimes, the caliber of the competition at bid events is not very deep and these "non-elite" teams (whatever that means) will be given bids b/c the EPs won't want to give them up...which is why we have so many in the first place.

I personally would define elite the way websters does;

" A group of people considered to be the best in a particular society or category, esp. because of their power, talent, or wealth."

the best of the best...to me that's what worlds should be! Not the best of the best plus the mediocre of the best!

I know there are tons of reasons why it's gotten clouded...I just wish it was more prestigious!

I was in class so I missed it, but congratulations Cali Black Ops! I think it's awesome that they went from not even making it to Worlds to being World Champions! And great job Aces!! I'm a little sad they got second, but Orange was amazing and I like both teams equally so it's whatever! Smoed, Lady Bullets, and Sparkle better kill it today!!
