USASF releases (big) early changes for next season

The USASF has released early changes for next season, and here are 3 major ones:

All International divisions require a minimum of 16 athletes.

  • This means all international teams will have to consist of at least 16 athletes, compared to the requirement of 10 as per the 23/24 rules.

International Global Level 6 and International Global Coed Level 6 will no longer be offered.

  • Following last year’s removal of Senior Open divisions, the plan is to remove the Global divisions - currently home to teams like Top Gun GLOC, Cali Smoed, Stingrays Electric, and teams around the world.

International Open NT Level 7 and International Open Coed NT Level 7 will be offered through USASF CHEER and are Worlds-eligible divisions.

  • Meaning teams from the United States will also be able to compete in these divisions.
