I think I'm a lot more interested in what the jungle cat uniform will look like.

Here is what the Junglecat uniform looked like 2 years ago. I don't know if we are using the same ones or not, but it wouldn't surprise me if we did. It looked great on the floorl

These were my FAVOURITE uniforms once upon a time! I hope they make a comeback!

I don't much care if this comes off as rude or not, but why do you think that Junglecats is not a Worlds caliber team?
Because it's not a name they know, so therefore they can't be any good.

If anyone knew how hard it was to place teams, there would be no comments like that. I know how hard it is for us, I can't imagine having 750+ athletes to decide on.

Loved CA's tweet last night! I can't post a pic but the one that inferred that athlete's twitter activity could have affected placements. Athletes should know the seriousness of social media and the consequences it has!!

@cheerathletics

Things to think about: 1. Coaches have Twitter. 2. Athletes are lined up for your spot on a team. #MadeAWaitList #CheckingItTwice

The part that frustrates me the most is that some are upset and they haven't even been to a single practice yet. We are MUCH more receptive to concerns about team placement after the team has practiced a couple of times.

For what it is worth, we know going in that many people are not going to be happy about placements. It happens every year, and it generally settles down after the first couple of weeks of the season and people realize why we set the team up the way we did.

I feel your pain. I get more frustrated when team placements haven't even been finalized yet and there's griping ;)

What many don't realize is that the more loudly and publicly they gripe, the more likely we are to dig in our heels and refuse to make a change*. A well-thought-out, calm conversation after the first couple of weeks will get much better results with us than making an idiot of yourself on Twitter before the season starts.

* this isn't out of spite. If people start to think that they can scream and publicly complain and get what they want, we suddenly become overrun with people stomping around demanding their daughter be point flyer for <<insert team name>>

I am hoping that it's only the kids who didn't make a Worlds team that are complaining, and not the ones who actually made a Worlds team. They should realize how fortunate they are.

Nope, it's pretty universal. Again - it happens every year, we get frustrated about it every year, we start practicing, it calms down. It is more noticeable now because of social media, but it is actually pretty normal.

People are always going to complain and its because they don't have the insight to realize that everything is done for a reason. How can you really say
Jungle cats won't be a world caliber team when they haven't even practiced yet. I mean look at what panthers did last season, it was their first year in a division and they won silver. Lets let the kids actually put up some stunts, throw a few passes and do a few jumps before we start analyzing them. I think we also should recognize that @BlueCat and the rest of the CA staff are smart enough to recognize if a team isn't working and will make adjustments accordingly. Lets try to have some faith people and relax before we have a collective aneurysm. :chillpill:

I agree with your post, except it wasn't their first year in the division. It was, however, their first year back ;)
