Slightly off topic but I thought I would share one of my biggest pet peeves since it is relevant to this thread - posters that have an avatar of someone who is clearly not them. Especially when they don't think before they post.

I completely agree! It makes me so angry! Here I am, finding time to post on Fierceboard through my world tour, exposing my true identity to everyone that wants to see it on here and you guys can't even do the same! Preposterous.

Haha the joke is on me! I am fine with Beyonce, Wendy Williams and I am partial to my Beaker avatar because as awesome as they all are, they are not athletes in our sport. I do find it odd when someone uses a cheerleaders picture as their avatar when it is not them, but that is just me I guess!

She's already a cheerlebrity (signed bows and all), so that's not why she's going to Rays. I'm assuming she just wants to have a better chance to place at Worlds, and I don't see why anyone would have a problem with that. (Referring to whoever is causing drama, not you!)

I can't speak to her situation personally, but every athlete should be able to choose a gym that suits them best and not be criticized for that. Best wishes to her!

Oh, honey...don't do that just yet...just hang out a while and get to know everybody. I think you'll find that most of the folks on here are quite helpful once you figure them out a little bit. You'll learn a lot and have a little fun, too. Just give it some time and keep an open mind. Most of the people on this board have been around the sport a while, so they can be passionate and opinionated sometimes. Don't take it personally...just sit back, grab a bag of popcorn, read, and learn.

Watch it...disrespect on other gyms is kinda frowned upon without a recent event or evidence to back yourself up. Even if you have a well founded issue, you should approach it a bit more carefully. Just a bit of friendly advice to keep you from getting further abused. (I personally have a friend whose kid is on Legends...she worked VERY hard to get on that team.)
