I like F5, but I feel like they need more choreo between the sections...like the routine doesn't flow as well (at least to me anyway).

I was thinking that too when I was watching the transition to jumps.

The only thing that really excites me about F5's routine is the dance

Everything else seems so generic and the same as other teams. I agree with the above poster, they need more choreography. This year, so far, I'm just not feeling it, which is a shame because they have always been one of my favourite teams to watch.


On the other hand - HEY REIGN. They were fabulous, as were Super Seniors.

It's pretty much offensive to everyone these days and the fact that you don't even care who it may offend speaks volumes about your lack of understanding about the issue. I get what you meant, but please try to choose your words more carefully.

I don´t want to be offensive. I just think if you would see that the use of the R-word wasn´t the right fit and never is, because it hurts peoples feelings, we could take our focus off of that a lot easier

The fact that you think that your use of an offensive word doesn't matter is disturbing. And the fact that you think cheerleading matters more than the treatment of individuals with special needs.

If you really want to move on and get back to talking about cheerleading, then the best thing you could do is educate yourself by looking at the links already provided and apologize.

In a nutshell, "...when “retard” and “retarded” are used as synonyms for “dumb” or “stupid” by people without disabilities, it only reinforces painful stereotypes of people with intellectual disabilities being less valued members of humanity." It's akin to the use of the word "gay" to describe something as dumb or stupid.

Trying to minimize the issue in order to get people to overlook your offensiveness isn't going to work.

loving vengeance! @Mamarazzi do they plan on adding more guys to the team? (I am just guessing they competed with 36, since you can't add more # of people after receiving a bid) loving the routine, but competing against teams with the maxed out number of boys may hurt them, which would make me sad.
