Even if people directly affiliated with CAC aren't judging CAC teams, it could be viewed as favoritism.

That being said, I don't know you as a coach, or a judge, and if you say there is no foul play, I'll believe you, until you give me reason not to.

I thought you coached there...? And are judging at a competition they're going to? You said here (below) that you're one of the judges for CS. Are you not coaching at CAC? If not, then it sits fine with me. But if you're coaching at CAC and judging at a competition they're in, well... Shouldn't need to ask why that wouldn't sit well.

Definitely real. My wife was stuck in traffic on Glenwood coming home from school for 7 hours.

I am judging in the dance arena, not in any of the cheer arena's..........it shouldn't need to..... I have been a coach 30 years, and judged at Nationals for the last 18, I feel I am capable of judging anyone today or yesterday, while still being subjective... However I have never been in that position before though...

I don't need to give you Anything!!! I am not judging cac teams, just fyi.............It would never on my part be Favoritism, I have never been a judge at a competition of kids that I coach, how could I? This is the first year cac has attended CS, and I am in the Dance Arena.......:cow:

It is really my own fault..... I should have specified, have no idea how anyone knows what I do/ or coach at for that matter... I have had to edit some of my posts, as I could tell where some of my words were going to go, and I Don't want to be one of the people on here to be stirring up Trouble or DRAMA!!! That is so not my personality at all, I am the Kooky Coach with the Crazy Hair, who has loved what he has done for the last 30 years!, and hope to continue to do it for another 30.....WOW!!!! I sound older than DIRT!!!!! Haaaaaa!!!:fro:

A night makes a difference. Again, about 10 minutes from Stingrays-Marietta and 40 minutes from venue. We now have 3/4 inch of ice, 3 inches of snow and without power as of a few minutes ago. Be safe!

Dear Cheersport,

I don't suppose you would consider postponing your competition to a later date? Atlanta has a storm coming in Tuesday into Wednesday...my flight has been canceled for Thursday because the north east, particularly NJ, NY, PA area is getting slammed with snow on Wednesday into Thursday. _()*&)*&^(*&^@(&*%2785725986 MY LIFE.

I would think that the logistics in rescheduling would make it impossible... just alone finding a venue the size of the Georgia World Congress Center that would be flexible enough or have an opening in their schedule would be difficult.

I have to agree. I didn't read any of the last page-ish as drama, just curiosity or legit questions since they've posted that they are a coach. Seemed a natural question to ask so I am confused as to why the bold, all caps, and excessive punctuation was necessary.

I gotta laugh a little when reading this post....living in Wisconsin we get this weather all the time. The picture posted earlier with all the cars on the street with the street unplowed is a typical winter day (the snow covered streets, not the cars that are stopped or on fire...). Obviously snow is bigger deal in the south since its not common so most places don't have the plows and people don't really know how to drive in it, but just makes me laugh a little. Okay carry on.
