And I was REALLY liking SSX this year. Be salty all you want, but keep it off social media and don't take pictures of your trophy in the trash. That's just classless and gives your program and team a bad rep.

I still think they're an incredibly talented team and have a very skilled routine! I just dislike the way that some of their athletes were representing themselves. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth and slightly disappoints me because I was really rooting for them this year. I didn't mean to sound like I thought they weren't talented or their routine sucked or anything. They're great. Just not a fan of their attitude.

SSX did nothing wrong, the girls did.

I can't count of two hands the amount of times I have seen Shooting Stars and Panthers and F5ers and Senior Eliters tweet horrible things towards each other after SE won worlds back to back but I don't hold anything against the teams - just the people that tweeted those things. I judge them.

Exactly! I saw someone say they hate every team at CEA now because of those girls. I get you're mad, but you can't group everyone together with those who said or did those things.

I agree with you completely. You can't lump everyone in on this. There are many athletes that are part of CEA that display great sportsmanship. However I am seeing more tweets from the coaches and gym owner and SSX twitter that would be better off left alone. You cant defend yourself on this, regardless of whether it was "not what it seemed" or "blown out of proportion". Whether done by 1 athlete or the entire team, it was wrong. Apologize and deal with it internally and move on instead of tweeting and retweeting trying to defend or trivialize what happened.

with all this being said i still dont think that brandon should have beat ssx.

if you look at their routine from a judges stand point they should not be getting in the high range for standing or running tumbling. to get in the high range for standing you need most of the athletes participating in 2 level appropriate skills, 1 of which is a jump tumbling combo. they have most doing jumps to back but i think they should be in the low of the mid range for standing. i counted 4 kids in their 2 to fulls that do layouts. thats a level 4 skill. and they only have 1 standing to double.

for running you need most of the athletes participating in 1 elite level pass to get in the high range. just straight running fulls dont count as a elite pass. they only do 7 and they need 13. so again they should be in the middle or low end of the mid range.

tosses should not be in the high range either. it looks like only 2 groups do hitch kick doubles. you need sqaud kick kick doubles to max out in the high range. the 3 additional tosses are only hitch kick doubles tosses should be in the low of the mid range also.

they are prob in the high range for stunts and pyramid.

from the looks of it every single person on cheer extreme throws a standing to full or double. they should be at the top of the high range for standing.
i counted 15 specialty running passes. they should be in the high range for running also.

looks like all but 1 toss group does kick kick double. they should be in the high range for tosses.

that's 3 category's that ssx should have outscored brandon by alot. i think ssx technique in everything is better than brandons. unless brandon killed ssx on the performance part (which from the video i thought ssx performed better) i dont see how they beat them if your comparing the routines to a scoresheet.

Already won me over! For some reason this team looks hugeee for a large team. Love the all red uniforms, they are so refreshing! I feel like there really aren't many uniforms with the main uniform color as red, I like it
