Varsity is trying to tell me that I have a low bandwidth while I have the highest possible bandwidth available that's meant for extreme gamers....

Although they did offer to refund me.

While you may be paying for and usually receiving the highest possible bandwidth from your cable provider, your provider may not be serving you said bandwidth. A router and/or modem restart should whip your bandwidth into shape. Which in turn should fix your Twitter & Buffer problem (the problem could be that your bandwidth may be suffering currently and then when Twitter tries to refresh itself, it needs bandwidth so it takes it from your feed, causing your connection to pinch further)
