Isnt Black Smack mostly Louisville cheerleaders too? Because I feel like I hear about them competing all the time lol is IO6 just a smaller commitment tteam?
Black and Pink do have a lot of UofL cheerleaders. But I think both teams have only competed two or three times this season. I'm guessing their I06 teams probably just are lower committment since all of the athletes are probably in college and have other stuff going on. Not entirely sure though, but I hope this helps!

The IO6 teams are still planning to attend worlds but only competed once and both received their bids to worlds at that time.
The IO5 teams have competed twice and both received at-large bids first then paid bids at their second competition.
Yes, all the IO teams have many, if not mostly, UofL cheerleaders on the teams, but they all have quite a bit of practice and commitments to their team, in addition to those athletes from UofL who are preparing for college nationals that practice A LOT! There are some athletes who do not do UofL cheer but are on the GT teams, though.
There are also UofL cheerleaders on both Platinum and Rouge, who are still age eligible to compete on these teams.
The amount of commitment to be on UofL and GymTyme teams at the same time is unreal, but none the less, they are all committed to both teams (after all, they have to be, to dedicate that much time to cheer). Not to mention the fact that they still cheer at their sporting events for the school, oftentimes traveling out of town to cheer at games, attend appearances, and other school sponsored events.
Just wanted to clarify that all of the teams have a lot of commitment, but that the IO6 teams have not competed since receiving their bids, but continue to practice and prepare for worlds.

I don't think anyone meant to imply that people on those teams weren't committed. Just that, in an effort to save money, and because there's rarely competition outside of worlds, a lot of level 6 teams will only compete as many times as it takes to get a bid - mine included.

We also haven't seen much of anything from T&S and PCM since they got their bids either.

I understand, but just wanted to clarify that the members of UofL are all spread out among the GT teams, not just the IO teams that we don't hear about.
I didn't mean to come across like I was being argumentative about it. Just trying to be informative, but I apologize if it seems that way.

Just for some context so it's not completely random, the coach of the Celtics cheerleaders is on ECE's IOC5 team - and I think so are a bunch of the Celtics cheerleaders. There's a close connection between them and the spirit team, so it makes sense they'd be able to hook up an appearance.

I danced with my streetfunk team back in 2007 at a Celtics game. It was fun.

But oohhhhhmaaannnnnn I got the same feeling I got watching Brooke High School during that routine. "OMG STOP STOP STOP STOP BEFORE YOU DIEEEEE"
