Why rehab a team that won UCA ? Did they compete between UCA and their Showcase ? I'm a little perplexed. Was the rehab simply for the Showcase ?

They won UCA as a 4.2 team AFTER the rehab. Seems like a conflict of interest to me. I wonder how the Cali 4.2 teams fared.

It's a division geared towards high school cheerleaders that have high stunting ability and limited tumbling.

There weren't any Cali teams at UCA, at least not in the 4.2 divison. Not sure about the rest of the season and if either traveled far enough to compete against each other. Iowa is a long way off from Cali.

If the time delay between shooting and releasing the episodes is the same the Cheerleaders, then the episodes we saw would have happened before UCA. But I don't think they specified anything about that on the show, so I'm not sure.

You know what's interesting, Cali only brought like 3 teams to UCA, snipers being one of them. Eddie and orby coach snipers so maybe they decided to bring them so they could coach rebel at UCA as well? Just a thought

I know a lot of people were talking about the coach earlier based on the recent episode but I hope watching this shows that they are probably just showing the "worst" bits if that makes sense. (Im not denying what they said)

Eddie and Orby are amazing but they couldn't make this routine this mostly perfectly executed in the 2 days they were there and coaches would have had to put a lot of work in after they left to pull off that UCA performance because it was GREAT. Their tumbling timing was flawless.

The coach must be doing something right.

It reminds me of that show on animal planet my cat from hell. Especially when she shares the update with Eddie and Orby. The expert guy goes in and gives the owners the tools to make things better.

The only teams CALI (Ventura) took to UCA were Code 3 (coed level 3-small), and Snipers (Restricted coed level 5). However, CALI (Ontario) took a few teams. I don't believe they took a 4.2 team but, I can't say for sure.

They did, I just looked it up on the UCA website. I was thinking maybe they got it together before that comp, but wasn't the showcase thing from this last episode like an end of the year thing. I don't know I haven't really kept up with this that much.

UCA came after the team had been rehabbed by Eddie and Orby. That explains their UCA placement a bit more. Because the team initially didn't appear to be first place material. That means they returned to sloppy between UCA and Showcase. Then they got another visit from Eddie and Orby just prior to Showcase. Then Eddie and Orby remained there to attend Showcase. We'll have to see how they perform this upcoming season. Hopefully rehab helped them they will have a good season.

Orby coaches Code 3 and Snipers both. For the past few seasons he has taken his two teams to Florida for UCA. The remaining CALI team(s) at UCA were out of the Ontario gym. I believe Ontario took more than one team though. But UCA isn't a competition that all of CALI attends. The travel can be rough immediately following NCA. And the expense can become a bit much.
