In my opinion, if they have to advertise for a final female spot on Smoed, I find it hard to believe they have 36 (competitive) level 5 female athletes to make a team at Ventura which is where the new team will be at

They don't have to advertise. They could pull anyone from Snipers, or any other team, but they want options. They want the absolute best to be on their team, and that's why they do it. They might look at all the videos, and decide, Hey, none of these are that great. It'd be easier to ask a Snipers girl.
So basically, they're just checking out their options.

Just a question, but why? Aces are from the location which has one of the hardest times pulling level 5 talent. SM or Ontario would make more sense.
I could see Cali finding talent for a large all girl, but being on the west coast they would have no competition all season except for NCA and worlds.

Is PCM not having a large all girl again this year? Also, Cali Large Coed doesn't have any competition until NCA either so I don't think that would be the reason.

I always forget PCM is from California. I'm not hating on Cali, I would love to see them enter the large division. People have brought up Cali having a large all girl in the past with the same reasons as well. Who knows.....

I think it's really smart to have the Tiny and Mini at prep level. If I were a parent, lower costs and time commitment would definitely be a good way to introduce me to this sport! Also, there are only so many team names. Like unless you're NCT AllStars SR5 Shooting Stars COMPETING against WC, then who cares... and now that I am thinking more about it, who cares even if you were? Teams aren't copyrighting names are they? Pretty sure other teams across the country have SMOED teams too... There are only so many options. Anyway, where in PA are you located? Just curious!
